So you can have your own Notting Hill Carnival in Taiwan. They sell Red Stripe over there, right?

Pure vibes
Don't know what the weather's like in Shang-hai but spring has sprung in Paris and we are just months away from a summery utopia of pretty girls in shorts riding bicycles down boulevards and laughing.
As such, like a child with his fingers in the sweetie jar, I can't leave these bad boys alone right now.

Straight inna di DJ bag! (Work those thighs, Grace.)
Happy New Year!
I got massively into dancehall over the summer, when gloomy dubstep didn't quite fit with the sweltering weather. Here are some tunes that helped me get through my awful summer job.
Enjoy xxxx
1) Singalong! (But overlook the chauvanistic rambling at the end. Ouch.)
2) Did someone say 'anthemic'?

4) State of the nation track:
5) Baddest track ever from UK Garage legends:
Further reading:

Major Lazer: Essential Mix (Diplo & Switch do reggae-dancehall-electro-breaks odyssey)
TRACKLIST

Gyal A Mad Ova - Mavado
As We Enter - Damian Marley & Nas

6) I think I will try and finish every blog entry with a Ms Dynamite track.
It's the thinking man's end-of-the-night banger.

Ghetto Maudlin
Happy reclining, Grace... xx
1) Open the Box:
2) I walked along the banks of the Seine, almost skipping with contentment I loved this track so much.
3) Making Babies music:
4) Arm-waving, bedroom dancing:
5) From the vaults, old Burial b-side:
6) End-of-the-night, sugar-sweet two-step:
7) What's that they are chanting? 'One more tune'? Well, ok then.
